Business Planning is a short action-based training program that takes an innovative approach at translating a business model into a compelling business plan. Through the business model CANVAS tool, learners will describe a market opportunity, define the key characteristics of the proposed solution(s), identify resources and activities to implement it, explain the expected benefits for stakeholders, identity potential risks and ways to mitigate them.

Within 5 days, learners understand the different pieces that conform a Business Plan and put together a comprehensive document that reflects the key factors of a venture’s success or failure. At the end of the program, learners will be equipped with the necessary tools to pitch their business idea to potential investors and other stakeholders.

Each participant will work directly on his or her own business plan. To accelerate the learning process, participants will work with a business coach who will help them organize their work, stay on track, reflect on their learnings and make sure they have all the necessary elements to get funding.

The program is divided into three (3) modules which are:

Module 1: Business Models

Module 2: Business Plan

Module 3: Pitch

This program presents an innovative way to write a business plan through practical training sessions.

Entrepreneurship Immersion is an action-based training program that exposes participants to the world of entrepreneurship. Students learn first-hand what goes into the entrepreneurial process –from idea to launch, uncover their own entrepreneurship skills and hear from successful entrepreneurs what it takes to run a prosperous new venture.

Within 5-days, learners understand elements necessary to start a business in Botswana, understand own motivations to become an entrepreneur while deepening their skills in self-awareness, learn about the different types of businesses and industries and assess market opportunities

By the end of the program, learners will be equipped with the necessary tools to structure their business idea and put together an action plan. To accelerate the learning process, participants will work with a business coach who will help them organize their work, stay on track, reflect on their learnings and make sure they align market opportunities with own motivations and interests.

The program is divided into three (3) modules which are:

Phase 1: Introduction to Entrepreneurship

Phase 2: Opportunity Assessment

Phase 3: Action Planning

Through field trips, speaker panels with successful entrepreneurs, assessment tools and coaching sessions, this program approaches the entrepreneurship process through a totally hands-on experience that uncovers participants’ potential as entrepreneurs and intensifies the learning process.

This is an action-based training that emphasizes development of entrepreneurial and management skills for SMMEs business owners. Participants are exposed to innovative management methodologies used by successful entrepreneurs around the globe through which they define their company’s unique value proposition by identifying customers’ problems and defining innovative solutions (products or services).

Within 5 days, each entrepreneur will transfer their business plan into an actionable business model, set goals and assess its performance. Participants will be assigned to a business coach who will help him/her organise the plan, evaluate results, reflect on their learnings and adjust the plan as needed to start the cycle again.

The program is divided into four (4) phases which are:

Module 1:            Business Formation/Establishment

Module 2:            Business Operation and Leadership

Module 3:            Business Leadership

Module 4:            Customer Service

The objective of this program is to help entrepreneurs bring their business plan to life, by equipping them with a step-by-step blueprint to manage and put their business ideas into action.

Sales and Marketing Management is a short action-based training deep dive focusing on the development of sales and marketing competencies for the business community. Through this program, learners identify their customer segment(s), define an innovative value proposition that helps them outsmart their competition.

Within 5 days, learners build a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to drive business growth. Participants are exposed to key marketing concepts and gain first-hand knowledge on market research to seize market opportunities.

Each participant will identify the market problem their business is aiming to solve, recognise who their customers are (buyers-users-customers), define a value proposition that stands out from the competition, and a positioning strategy that speaks to their target customers and keeps them coming back for more. Participants work with a business coach who will help them organize their work, stay on track, reflect on their learnings and make sure they have all the necessary elements to drive sales

The program is divided into three (3) modules which are:

Module 1: Introduction to Marketing

Module 2: Marketing Fundamentals

Module 3: Sales and Marketing Plan

This program covers the marketing 4Ps in an innovative way through theoretical and practical training sessions.

Bookkeeping is an action-based short program that emphasizes the development of accounting skills to shape management decisions, business strategies and outcomes.

 

Good decision-making starts with good record keeping. Through this 5-day workshop participants will learn to strategically manage their business by understanding basic accounting principles and analysing financial statements.

 

Each participant will work with its own business’s data, analyse it and come up with strategic decisions for their enterprise. Participants work with a business coach who will help them organize their work, stay on track, reflect on their learnings and make sure they analyse all the necessary elements to drive their business profitability.

 

The program is divided into three (3) modules which are:

Module 1: Introduction to bookkeeping

Module 2: Accounting principles

Module 3: Data driven decision-making

 

This program presents accounting in an innovative way through, not only theoretical sessions, but also practical training.
