The First Youth Programme is the flagship programme of the First Youth Centre. It recognises that a young person’s economic journey may lead into entrepreneurship, employment or further development—and builds practical capability for more than one path.

What the programme develops
Participants build entrepreneurship knowledge, employability capability, confidence, career awareness and practical readiness to pursue opportunities.
A connected experience
Learning is supported by mentorship, networking, guest entrepreneur sessions, resource access and continuing enterprise or employability support through the Centre.
After the programme
Young entrepreneurs can receive business diagnostics, coaching, formalisation and market support. Jobseekers can access CV, interview and workplace-readiness guidance. Support and referrals depend on individual needs and available opportunities.
Who should register interest
Young people who are unemployed or economically inactive and ready to participate actively in practical development should register interest. Final eligibility, intake dates, duration and selection requirements will be communicated for each cohort.
